Introducing the faces behind The House Maker. These are creative and technical minds that make our homes a reality. But what does that really mean for you? Find out more right here.
Who Are We?
We are The House Maker, and we build refreshingly different homes right here in the North West of England. Filled with natural light and exquisitely designed, our homes are sustainable, unique and modern. We know you’re going to love them.
Some of you will be first time buyers. Others will be celebrating retirement, or merging two families. Whatever the reason for your move, we all share one desire. To live in a house that feels like a true home.
That’s why, from the first brick to the last door handle, we hand-pick every detail of our carefully designed homes. The finished article is brilliantly flexible, depending on your needs. Swap a bedroom for a walk-in wardrobe. Create a man den or a cosy snug. The choice is yours.
A Tour of Our Homes
In rural Cheshire you’ll find Home Farm, an exquisite collection of barn conversions overlooking open countryside and bordering historic Henbury Hall. Just a few miles east you’ll discover Chester Road, a collection of contemporary family homes in Macclesfield, complete with landscaped park land. Journeying north you’ll arrive at our high-end homes in the village of Crowthorn, nestled in the Lancastrian countryside within touching distance of Manchester.
Our team is small, agile and incredibly talented.
We’re not one of the big boys. We’re an independent business and always will be. Why? Because it means we can do things our way.
We spend more money per square foot than big commercial developers. We don’t make choices based on plot sizes or convenient building materials. Every decision is taken for the right reason, without compromise. Quality and innovation are the air we breathe.
The House Maker is truly one of a kind. Our homes are carefully considered and brilliantly executed.
As an architect you design for the present, with an awareness of the past, for a future which is essentially unknown.
